Stupid question

I looked in the groups but didn't notice a reference.

On ONE of my computers, the target turns from orange to blue all the time
and stays that way.

IF I reboot the computer, it goes back to orange like normal. Is this any
kind of indicator that I can't find or is my computer just being wierd?

Only one of the 7 computers I have installed MSAS is doing it and
ironically, this one has never detected an infection.

If you can demonstrate the blue Icon when 1) Fast User Switching is not
enabled on the machine and 2) you've used neither Remote Desktop nor Remote
Assistance, this would be news. Probably not significant news given that
there's no functionality issue, but interesting, anyway.

and its not a stupid question, just a common one. ;-)

Actually, I do not use fast user switching (hate it) but I DO use remote
desktop.

The ironic thing is that I remote desktop all the computers but this is the
only one that the icon turns blue.

It does not seem to affect functionality as you stated.

Just caught me off guard that the icon was blue instead of the red/orange.

I think I figured it out.

Turns out that one of the computers that I remote WITH was set for 256
colors for the computer that keeps turning blue.

It appears that it turns blue whenever the color depth is changed but does
not go back to it's normal color unless you reboot or log off and back on.

I guess I just didn't think of the connection until you mentioned the remote
desktop aspect.

Thanks!
