can delete all my browsing history, except for one
address.
have tried regedit/HKEY curent
user/soft/MS/widows/current version/expl/Run MRU.. but
that doesn't cut it either.... any bright ideas out there?

You could have gotten a lot more "bright ideas" if you'd told us the
address. As it is, try deleting from an Administrator account in Safe
Mode. Be sure you have a current antivirus program running, using
updated definitions. Remove spyware/malware with Spybot Search &
Destroy (www.security.kolla.de) and Ad-aware (www.lavasoftusa.com).
