i have a stripped array using an on chip system setup in bios. there is a
driver, which i installed from the motherboard cd(not from a floppy during
windows installation).
my question is if the windows os goes down, will the onchip sata array
continue to exist and woudl the data still be there after reinstalling the
system?
thanks
frogeye

You must use the drivers from a floppy for the F6 option, either make youre
own and use the set up from the mfg,or use the floppy from them,a cd wont
work..Yes the array stays as is being that the 2 are always plugged in as
they
were set up,hd1 to SATA plug 1,hd2 to SATA 2,etc.....
