String of Numbers and Letters In Windows Explorer, Windows XP Home,SP2

This is a list of 4 groups of numbers and letters under my (C:)
1. {00003A04-0000-0000-E66D-B6B7F1786819}
2. {90000046-0000-0000-A147-5AF86B43D1E2]
3. 8ff9f5ebce54b1f75693d6877e2eb329
4. 9dd8f660b12312edc83b0a384fc8

These groups are in the left pane and in the right pane are from top to
bottom : 1. DATA Manifest Configuration Settings
2. " " " " Manifest.orm ORM
3. msxml6-KB927977-enu-x86 Text Document
4. msxml4-KB927978-enu Text Document

Can they be safely deleted or are they integral to the health of
programs, applications and/or my computer. I have seen this question
long ago, but not recently. If I should not be here, please re-direct.

Because he doesn't know what they are. Folks shouldn't delete things just
because they don't know what they are.

1) restore point before deleting
2) Recycle bin
3) backups

??

At least two of those (IIRC) were text files.
 
What I think I'll do is, delete the first two groups and sit on them for a
while (how long I'm not sure), and see if anything troublesome develops.
After 30 to 60 days I may feel confident enough to relax. But please keep
comments coming.
