I just installed Windows/Word 2007 after having 2003. Same keyboard and
computer. My "insert" key no longer works-- any suggestions?

I'd suggest that you ask this Word question in a Word newsgroup. This group is
for a different program, Microsoft Access; the webpage can be misleading and
may have steered you here. Scroll down the list of subjects and find one for
Word.
 
Resolution ---
Turn off overtype mode:
Click the Microsoft Office Button
Click Advanced.
Under Editing options, clear the Use overtype mode check box.
