Interesting problem I have. I have downloaded a template which contains (5)
*.html pages (page_one.html, page_two.html, page_three.html, page_four.html,
page_five.html) including (1) style.css sheet making a total of 6 pages. The
template did not include a photo gallery. But all 5 html pages have 20
buttons (gif-files 25x21pix in size) along each page on the left side to
select the photo you want to display in the center of page.
I have placed a picture into page_three.html, saved it as page_three.html.
Then repeated that 20 times saving each page name differently. Example:
page_three_02.html, page_three_03html, page_three_04.html,
page_three_05.html, page_three_06.html, ETC…. And then going back and
correcting all links in the main (5) pages to reflect the correct link to the
gallery pages. I have also created (20) links on each of the twenty pages,
about 400 links. When I run the report through Frontpage, I have zero broken
or unverified hyperlinks.
The strange part to me is, when you view/ preview (page_one.html,
page_two.html, page_three.html, page_four.html, page_five.html) they all look
great. When you go to page_three.html (photo gallery page) and put the mouse
over each button (on the left side) the links are there, they show up they
change as you move the mouse over each one. But when you click on it,
NOTHING!! NOTTA, ZIP!
(I do not have the site posted yet, I have attempted to describe the problem
in detail to give you guys /girls all the ammo in solving the problem)
Any help, suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
