Strange service in Win2003

I have a service, that working fine in dev pc (winxp), but once transfered
to production server (win2003std) it installs sucsessful (with installutil
no error), but I can not see it in service explorer. I have administrative
rights on production machine.
Ideas?

Did you check the event log?
I have never had this situation before, true is that I never use
installutil I always include ServiceInstaller in the project

Dumb comment, but did you refresh the service list?
