Strange Notepad Message Pop-Up

When I start up my computer & before I do anything, two
identical Notepad messages automatically appear on my
screen. The Notepad messages read:
[.ShellClassInfo]
LocalizedResourceName=@%SystemRoot%\system32\shell32.dll,-
21787

Does anyone know what this means & what I can do about it?

These messages started appearing immediately after I ran
three virus removal programs. According to my Norton
scan, updated with the latest virus detections, my system
is currently clean.
