Strange Message

Bill Wilmot

I get a Norton message often:
"A remote system is attempting to access Microsoft
Generic Host Process for WIN 32 Services on your
computer."
What does this mean and should I allow it?

Greetings --

If this message is coming from Norton's Personal Firewall, it
likely means that someone is trying to hack into your computer. No,
you should not allow it. This is why you'd be using a firewall, to
prevent just this sort of thing.
