On our Win2000 machine, when we boot, we get a strange window right
before Windows starts up. It's about 3-4 inches square, gray
background, a small square in to left corner where the window name
would normally be and a non-functional "X" at the top right. There's
an "OK" button at the bottom. There's no text in the window itself,
just a dark bar in the top left corner. Like a bold |.
The only way to close the window is to click OK.
I've run the latest update of McAfee Virus Checker, AdAware, Spybot
and the thing persists.
Does anyone know what it is and how to get rid of it?
