All of the files on one of our file servers has gained an additional
attribute of "O" which we cannot seem to identify. Along with this, each
file has gained an icon that looks similar to Clock, in the place where a
shortut arrow normally appears.

Anyone seen these behaviors before and know what it means?

Thanks in advance!

See tip 904 in the 'Tips & Tricks' at http://www.jsiinc.com

Use the registry editor to inspect the data value at
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft
\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Icons\29

to get an idea of where it is coming from.

I don't have a ShellIcons folder, the closest thing I have is the
"ShellIconOverlayIdentifier" folder which is empty except for an Offline
Folders directory and a simple key on the inside. I have already checked,
the files are not marked as available offline....
