Strange characters in new mail body.

After I copied data from Excel into an email I get strange characters in
the body of each new mail. This is somehow connected with Word since the
problem goes away if I disable "Use Microsoft Word for writing email".

If anyone knows a fix for this I would be grateful.

The version is Microsoft Outlook 2003, Small Business Edition. I'm asuming
the build version isn't important.
