Strange behavior.

Hi,

I recently find that the Excel formula doesn't work properly sometimes.
For example, after having a summation of a column at a certain cell, I then
change the cell values within that column, the result doesn't reflect the
change automatically. I somehow can get around this by restarting the
computer. Does anybody know why this happens?

You might want to check to see Excel is set on automatic or manual
calculation. If it is on manual, this would explain your problem.

To check:

Click on Tools in your menu bar
Select Options
Click on the Calculation tab
Select Automatic if Manual is currently selected
Click Okay
