Hi All,
I have a form using Excel 2002 with eight cells requiring
user entry. With these cells being unprotected while the
sheet was protected, Excel 97 allowed the user to use the
Tab key to move around the form to all eight entry cells.
Excel 2002, however, does not.
Oddly, Excel 2002 does let you tab through the first six.
Where the cells are CELL1 - CELL8, the sequence of tabbing
goes:
CELL1 (H6)
CELL2 (J6)
CELL3 (C9)
CELL4 (E9)
CELL5 (H10:J16)
CELL6 (E12)
CELL5 (H10:J16)
CELL6 (E12)
CELL5 (H10:J16)
CELL6 (E12)
. .
. .
With CELL5 actually being a merged cell (H10:J16), it
seems that Excel 2002 has a problem determining what
the "next" cell is for a protected sheet. BTW, CELL7 is
E15 on my form. Excel 97 has no problem going from CELL6
to CELL7.
Has anyone seen this behavior and, if so, is there a
workaround?
