storing values from combo boxes in table fields

Is it possible to store values from a combo box with 4 columns based on a
table for selecting in the main table were I also have the field names
listed. I know it would result in having the same data in two tables, but I'm
having trouble generating a report with all fields populated? I have a DMR
table... It contains 4 fields, ID, firstname, lastname, contactphone. In my
form I use a combobox to look up the information in another related table. It
will populate across the form fields, but does not save it to my main
table... Hence when I generate a report based on the main table, the 4 fields
are blank? Any suggestions

Try using a query as source for the report and join the two tables in the
query.
