storing and retrieve image

hi...can anyone tell me how can i store/retrieve image in the blob
column named imgmember of oracle by vb.net...i am developing one web
application in which i need to store the image in the oracle and for
that i am using blob type to store image....so can anyone send me the
coding for that or provide me any link of any article or web page that
contains this stuff....please try to to coding in visual basic...
