Stop Sharing a folder

Vista Home Premium

I'm prevented from stopping a folder from being shared. The reason I'm given
is that it's in a shared folder. The path of the folder is
"C:\Users\Bob\Music". I'm not sharing C:\Users\ or C:\Users\Bob\. So it
doesn't seem to make sense. I have File and Printer Sharing "on".
Can anyone help with this?

Update: Even though the situation I described below still exists, when I
look at the Properties>Sharing tab it indicates the folder is NOT shared. A
contradiction, yes?

In many cases this could be the 3rd security software issue. For
troubleshooting, start the Vista with clean boot. This how to may help,
