Hi all,

When you enter a email address to Outlook, if it find the user from the
contact or Active Directory, normally i will replace the email address with
the username, I would like to stop outlook doing that. How can i stop that,
where can i set that?
I found an entry from Tools>Options>Preferences>Email Options> Advanced
Email Option> When sending email.
However, it only help with From, cc, bcc field, i can stop those field email
address to be replaced, but it doesn't help when you open a "New Email
message", then go to View>Options, there is a "Have replies sent to " field,
the field got replaced by the username everytime, even though the "From, cc
and bcc" fields are no longer updated by Outlook.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Cheers

What version of Outlook? In 2002/2003 you can set the display name on the
contact item.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
