(I'm using MS Office Outlook 2003).

After attaching a file to an e-mail and sending it, I go to my "Sent
Items" and double-click on the item to read the e-mail.

When I then double-click on the attachment, an "Opening Mail
Attachment" pop-up box is displayed. The box says "You should only
open attachments from a trustworthy source", displays the name of the
attached file and gives me three choices: "Open", "Save" or "Cancel".

How do I stop the pop-up so I can open the attachment immediately?

Not an answer, but why would you open the attachment that you have sent
from your Sent Items rather than from the original file, which
presumably is residing on your HDD?

The original file is stored on the HDD of the PC at my office so the
only way to read the file is to double-click the attachment to the e-
mail that I sent.
