Stop moving trendline equations

I have a set of charts that have source data that will change often. I have
the regression equation displayed on the chart and the user needs to use the
equation for the rest of the procedure.
Often, when new source data is put in the regression equation will move from
the top left corner (where I want it to stay) to some other location on the
chart that can be hard to read.
How can I lock the location on the chart where the regression equation will
be displayed? (I've uncheck AutoScale, Text direction set to Left-Right,
etc.)

Thanks.

This is probably what I should have done in the first place, thanks.
For future reference, is there no simple control for placement of chart
elements?

Some elements go where Excel thinks they'll be out of the way. If you're
using VBA it's straightforward to position an element precisely.
