Stop error while logging into msn

I just upgraded to xp home and when I am trying to logon
on to MSN explorer I get the message. "The sytem is
shutting down. Please save all work in progress and log
off. Any unsaved data will be lost. The shut down was
Initiated by NT Authority \System." Please reply with
any and all ideas.

It sounds like this machine is affected/infected by the MSBlaster virus.

I would recommend following the guidance from the following URL.
- 1) Use an Internet Firewall, 2) Get Computer Updates, 3) Use Up-to-Date
Antivirus Software
