I recive the following Stop Error while either Windows is
Running idle or when I attempt a Reinsall of the OS.
0x000000d1 (0xE77285d4, 0x00000002, 0x00000000, 0xE77385d4)

The only devices i have installed on the PC are 4 IDE
drives (2HHD-2CDROMS) and an ATI Video Card in the AGP
slot. My LAn and Audio hardware is inbedded on my INEL PIV
Mainboard. I have 1g of system memory and have a 1.8g
pentieum CPU

This is usually caused by a hardware error, probably bad memory. Just
because you have new RAM doesn't mean this can't happen. Start your
troubleshooting by testing your RAM with something like Memtest86 from
www.memtest86.com. Obviously, you'll need to download and prepare this
from a working machine. Either download the precompiled Windows binary
to make a bootable floppy or the .iso to make a bootable cd-r.
Whichever media you choose, boot with it and the test will run
immediately. Allow the test to run for an extended time - hours -
unless you see errors immediately. If you see errors, replace the RAM.

See this link for info on this error message:

0x000000D1: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
http://aumha.org/win5/kbestop.htm

A driver tried to access an address that is pageable (or that is completely
invalid) while the IRQL was too high.
This bug check is usually caused by drivers that have used improper
addresses.
Verify that the you have updated recommended drivers for your devices.
You could also try Microsoft's memory checker. Intrux below.
1) Download the Microsoft Windows Memory Diagnostic tool
http://oca.microsoft.com/EN/mtinst.exe.
2) Execute MTINST.EXE
3) Select the media to create (Floppy\CDROM ISO)
4) Then select create.
5) Boot the media (the window will have the appearance of DOS)
6) Multiple memory tests will be performed.
7) The memory test will run 6 tests.
8) After the 6th test completes, it will restart the testing.
9) After the first pass completes or you are ready to exit the testing
press X or power down the machine.
