Stop error during installation

I get a stop error during installation of XP on my home
built computer. It's a very long message with
Bad_Pool_Caller at the top and Stop: 0x000000c2
(0x00000007, 0x00000cd4, 0xe1258de8, 0xe1256368) at the
bottom. I have a dual processing Asus motherboard so I
don't know if that's causing the problem or what. I have a
40 GB hard drive so I don't think that should cause it
either. Any ideas? Is it possible that it just needs the
bios flashed?
