stop error and resource -how do I..?

Hi,

I keep getting the blue screen of death, the IRLQ error
one. I know this is a hardware device that isn't happy
and I suspect it is the wireless network card. I have a
brand new Acer laptop, XP home, and I added an SMC 2835W
pcmcia card. That is the only new bit of kit on the
thing and the driver is the only one that isn't signed. I
have the latest driver from SMC, but I still get the stop
000000d1 error. I've been reading everything I can and I
know parameter 4 is the device causing problems but my
question is where do I find where that address is and
what used it? The microsoft knowledge base says it should
say driver name but I don't have that in my error message
in event viewer. I've got a million dump files but don't
know how to read them. I've been thru system tools,
system info, device manager, etc. Can't find anything
that matches it. I want to make sure before I ditch this
thing and get another. can anyone help? Do I look in the
bios?

Thanks in advance
W

Hi, thanks, been there, very good site! That's where I
found out what the error message meant, but I don't know
how to find where that last parameter error location is.
There must be a list in Windows somewhere that shows this
Thanks anyway tho
