I know of no solution to service pack 4... other than installing all the
[hardware & software] before installing service pack 4.
I had the same issue with [Symantec Anti-Virus Corporate Edition] and
[Adaptec's CD Direct v2.5]
These were the only 2 that caused the same error message and reboot, but
that was what I had to do to get mine up and running (with everything
installed).
ntoskrnl.exe was the filename displayed after the error message

What was the entire error message? You may have to remove
some driver and remove a piece of hardware in the device
manager and then reinstall every thing. Run a search on
the error at msdn.microsoft.com. NICs and graphic cards
can be a problem at times like this. DirectX could be a
problem and need to be reinstalled and then the graphic's
drivers must be reinstallel.
