Stop: 0x000000D1 After Installing SP4

I just installed SP4 and all other updates for Windows
2000 Pro. I re-booted my machine, and I now get Stop Error
0x000000D4 at boot time. I've tried Safe Mode, etc., to no
avail. The machine appears hosed. All was well before
installing the update. I guess that will teach me! :)

Any ideas of how to recover from this?

I think this is what happened to my computer as well. I was set up to take all windows updates automatically and now my computer is totally fried. I cannot get it to boot using the windows reinstaller. I am not sure what to do next. I would assume that the SP4 was installed automatically and then I received a stop error also. I do not know the number and cannot duplicate the message now. I cannot get beyond the set-up page.
