After installing a Plextor 708 DVD drive, I receive:

Stop: 0x0000007B (0x85EA6D30........

error message and a blue screen saying that the boot drive
in invalid. Any suggestions?

Is your Plextor 708 are USB or SCSI or ATAPI?
If SCSI or ATAPI check your boot sequence.
