My Dell 8300 was stolen, along with my XP on it.
Can Microsoft trace my system through my copy of XP?
I know that the automatic updates run quite frequently,
is it possible to track the location of my system?

jerk if anyone could.

Even if they could, they probably wouldn't. They already got your money for that
license, and you will have to buy another pc and another license.

No, Microsoft has no such capability. I'm afraid you'll have to
rely on a more traditional method to recover your computer: call the
police.
