stock/share price linked to web?

David

Hi,

I have one cell on a sheet where I manually enter the share price that I
look up on Yahoo. What I'd like to do instead is to have that cell
automatically updated from the current share price, either from Yahoo or
anywhere else with the current live value.

Is this possible, and if so, how??

Thanks

David

I'm using Excel (office 2000) and have win xp home, and broadband cable
connection.

Here's the text of the Excel stock query IQY:

WEB
1
http://moneycentral.msn.com/investor/external/excel/quotes.asp?SYMBOL=["QUOTE","Enter
stock, fund or other MSN

MoneyCentral Investor symbols separated by commas."]

Selection=EntirePage
Formatting=All
PreFormattedTextToColumns=True
ConsecutiveDelimitersAsOne=True
SingleBlockTextImport=False

Copy this text into a text editor and save it with an IQY extension. Then,
Open it in Excel, and it will take care of the rest.
