Hi..

I use a program which gives me data about stocks in real time.
To use it in /with Excel and supose I'd like to get the maximum value of the
stock quote I should write:

=GOL|COT!stockname.MAX

It work OK but when I have to change the stock name I have to edit the
formula, retyping the stock name.
I'd like to write down a stock symbol (let's say in B2) in a cell and get
the information I need instead of editing the formula.
I have tried concatenate, &, but all I get back is a STRING
"=GOL|COT!stokname.MAX".

Any chances to solve this ? Please......

If you can give me the url and a couple of symbols, I will try to help.

If the workbook is not too big, you can send to me at the address below

Thank You Don...

I just don't understand. There is a engine/program installed in my computer
which gives me the =GOL thing that is a dynamic link between Excel and the
program....
I positive I'd need some function (whatever) where the result of =
CONCATENATE( "=GOL|COT!" ; B3 ; ".MAX"), where B3 is the stock symbol cell)
would return the FORMULA =GOL|COT!TNLP4.MAX (b3= "TNLP4") instead of the
STRING "=GOL|COT!TNLP4.MAX...

Thank You again for your help...
