Still receiving adware infection message despite performing clean-

Hi All,

I recently encountered a adware/spyware problem, and used the requisite
detection and clean-up program on my PC to eradicate this, however I still
get the adware/spyware warning speech bubble in the bpttom right of the
windows taskbar. Also, I'm unable to restore my desktop wallpaper to what it
originally was, when I go into control panel/display, the background options
are disabled.

Does anyone have any suggestions that might fix this situation.

Sounds like you were hood-winked into a spyware program that introduces more malware than it cures.
Download and run the free Microsoft Windows Defender and also Spybot.
If that does not cure the problem write back there are other free antispyware programs we can
recommend.
