Still no way to get rid of red x for ebay site

I went to the property part of the red x and it came up with
http://127.0.0.1:1028/bug.cgi what does that mean? Isn't there a way for me
to get rid of the damn x's I use SP2 and windows xp home.............many
many thanks...............Peter
 
Finally I downloaded Java and it worked. I wonder why I didn't get an answer
to this question. Was I the dumb one for not knowing, or is the Java stuff
verboten........Peter

install MS or Sun?

Environment, SE v1.4.4_05
It sure made several websites look soooooo much better...

Do you get that stupid icon in the taskbar? Find any way to get rid
of it?

Sorry for being late with a reply Trent, I don't have the icon on my
taskbar, no where. I wish I could help, it just never showed

go to the java environment in control panel ...there is a setting to not
show icon in taskbar
