Still Losing My History Info In IE6

I'm still only able to keep 1 days worth of history info in IE6 regardless of
the
number of days that I set. Can anyone help?

Ralph,

After changing the number of days in Internet Explorer - Tools - Internet
Options, and then changing the figure in "Days to keep pages in history" do
you then click on the <Apply> button?

Thanks for you answer. Yes I did hit apply. the history files remain
until I shut down. I open Explorer and all the history is gone.
Any more sugestions?
