Still having SATA slipstream troubles...

Guys, I've read so many articles about doing the slipstream stuff and have
had success (for the most part) in creating an XP boot cd. But all the info
out there seems to only give an example for one controller card. So when I
copy and paste all the info they say to, and the setup goes to look for the
correct drivers, it says it can't find the files.

Is there any way someone could guide me using the Promise SATAI 150 drivers?
I downloaded "Promise_SATA150TX2plus_drv100027b." I've been to the following
sites but am still having issues.

I know that I can do this but I've gotten to a frustrating point and need

Stop cutting and pasting what they have on the screen and put in the correct
information for your drivers. Like it says to in Step 1 of the last link
you posted. You don't use the text given, you cut/paste them from your OWN
drivers.

If you cannot get that to work, just use something like nLite - where
someone else does all the work for you and you trust it. ;-)

Perhaps you are putting more time in this than necessary if you are failing
at it for this long - it could be easier/better for you to purchase the $10
floppy diskette drive or the $20 external USB floppy diskette drive and just
keep it around for when you need to install again on this single system or
another...
