StickyKeys Wonky

N

System:
Windows XP SP1 - all patches applied
Internet Pro Keyboard
Intellitype Pro 5.0 drivers
StickyKeys turned on, doesn't lock modifier keys, doesn't turn off if 2 keys
are turned on simultaneously

Starting over the weekend StickyKeys has begun to act oddly. Pressing Ctrl
and then End acts as if Ctrl was not pressed. However pressing Ctrl-End
simultaneously works as expected. Pressing Ctrl and then C or V works as
expected (as do other modifier key combinations).

Even more annoying is the behaviour in Remote Desktop sessions to Win2K
boxes or Citrix Metaframe sessions. Pressing the right arrow key highlights
text and moves the cursor (almost as if the shift key was permanently
pressed - however I can type lower and upper case characters as usual). The
only way to move the cursor without highlighting text is to click with the
mouse.

Any ideas? I've updated the Intellitype drivers and turned off StickyKeys
but the problem persists.

You might try using System Restore to take you back to a time prior to when
this began. Start\All Programs\Accessories\System Tools\System Restore.

Thanks. Turns out Scroll Lock was enabled but the keyboard light wasn't on.
