sticky keys

hi i am running windows xp pro, is it possible to get rid
of the sticky key function?it keeps coming up with i have
pressed shift 5 times which i needed to do now i pressed
something and now its just beeping everytime i press
shift alt or ctrl, can some one plz help im going crazy i
want it gone thx in advance.

The options for Sticky Keys are in Control Panel/Accessibility Options.
Click the Keyboard Tab and set as appropriate.

Besides removing the check mark from "Use StickyKeys," you also need to
click the Settings button and uncheck the box that enables the keyboard
shortcut.

Alan,

Check your keyboard properties (Control Panel - Keyboard). Should be
settings there to help.
