Sticky Key board key

Anyone have a easy solution for a sticky key on a key board. The "E" on
my HP laptop has decided that it no longer wants to work all the time.
Compared to all the other keys; it does take extra effort to depress it.
Any solutions?

No, there are no easy solutions. Careful cleaning may suffice,
but this is difficult in laptops. If there are HP-trained repairmen where
you live, they may know something I do not.

The easiest and best solution is to order a new keyboard from HP for your
laptop. It is normally quite easy to replace laptop keyboards but you will
need to find the service manual on HP's website for your model computer.
Keyboards are usually not very expensive.

Not what I wanted to hear! But I kinda expected it. Will have to look
into purchasing a new one. Will try to repair myself first. I guess I
have nothing to lose.

Thanks for your prompt replies!

Turn the laptop off
and try to clean it with ordinary rubbing alcohol...

then let it dry out well and try again.

I've changed a keyboard and some other things on n older laptop and it
wasn't hard, but I've never attempted in on newer stuff (because I don't
have anything here).
