sticky cursor.

Running a virus scanner? Just shut down one program at a time till you find
the cause.
 
New installation of XP. Cursor stops for 2-3 secs every
30 60 secs. Help!

Hit Ctrl-Alt-Del to pull up your Task Manger. Click the Processes tab.
Click the CPU column so that the highest numbers are listed up top. Then
watch and notice what programs are using CPU resources when this happens.
It likely will be the top listed program running at that time that is the
cause.
