Actually, I'm aware of the Microsoft emails being spam - I have
filters in place to delete them. Not sure if I want to change me
email to a phony one, as I've received some really great help sent
directly to my email instead of the newsgroup. Guess I'll wait to see
how bad it gets.

| Open just one instance of Windows Explorer/My Computer.
| Set it up like you want it.. (Status Bar, Detailed/Icon/List view,
etc)
| Tools -> Folder Options -> View
| Click the Apply to All Folders button..
| (Note - if you want ALL windows to ALWAYS be like this one, uncheck
| "Remember each folder's view settings" first.)

| some spam increase in your inbox. Some may look like they are from
| Microsoft, 99% of them will not be.. Never install patches unless
