Status Bar

Hi!

It bothers me that with Windows XP, I have to envoke the
View - Status Bar manually every time I go into My
Computer or a subdirectory window.

On prior versions of Windows, the Status Bar could be
displayed as a default view, but with XP the Status Bar
does not show unless you continually request it.

Does anyone know how to set the Status Bar for a default
view in Windows XP?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,
Set the Status bar and then click on tools>folder options and flip to the
view tab and click on apply to all folders.
