Static reporting (no refresh on reruns)

How do I generate a static report using Access 2000? I
would like this report to be saved once and the data not
be refreshed each time the report is run.

(I know an alternative way would be to export a report
into an external file but I would like to generate static
versus dynamic reports.)

Please let me know ASAP!

Assuming that the reports have some criteria for selection of the data, then
all you'd need to do is to embed that selection into the reports underlying
query or view e.g. Where ORDER DATE between X & Y. That's the closest you
will come to a static report without exporting to an external file. Of
course if the underlying data changes for that period, then the report will
still change.
