Static IP/Workgroups nightmare

Hi
I messed up my peer>peer network somehow.W98 PC with ethernet cable to
router/modem works fine (static IP add), but XP PC seems to issue its own
static IP add, which doesnt match the rest, so all I get is a no connectivity
connection to the router.
Any ideas how to fix this please

Hi Keith,

If you are using a router with DHCP, the systems will generally get their IP
from the router. You might try opening a command prompt (start/run cmd) and
running ipconfig /renew.
