Startup/Shutdown Performance Issues

Is it just me or has anyone esle noticed that their
startup/shutdown has slow down? If so is there anything
that I can do to corect this? Are there specific
application that I can disable because I don't use them?
Any insight or advise would be great.

Well, there is slight decrease in performance, but its not life threatening
or a hindrance. If you are facing really slow start and shut down times, I
recommend restarting in safe mode and defragging your PC.
