StartUp Programs

I have a couple of programs that I don't know what they are and am unable to
close them.
WebProxy.exe
svchost.exe (listed 4 times)
Have run virus ck and found nothing.

I believe webproxy is malware, download, install and run Ad Aware:
www.lavasoftusa.com

As to svchost.exe, that's a generic service that runs a number of system
functions and seeing four in the task list is not unusual.

SVChost is a wrapper for a different things.

Do *NOT* kill svchost or you will kill your machine.

Webproxy is used by a variety of applications to do updates, etc. Leave it
alone.
