I received a used machine that already had Windows 2000 on
it pre-configured for a Network. I wanted to delete this
data and install Windows XP on the system. When I
installed XP I told the system to delete all partitions,
then I told the system to format the drive and install
XP. All of this worked OK, but now when I re-boot the
computer it always asks if I want to boot into Windows XP
or Windows 2000. If you choose the Windows 2000 option
you get errors stating that the full operating system
doesn't exist. My question is why would the system leave
me an option like this? And how do I get rid of the Choice?
