Starting Regedt32.exe in the key I want

Do any of you know how I am able to make an Icon on my
desktop that will open regedt32 at the right place, E.G If
a user clicks on the icon it will load Reg Edit and
default to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\INTEL" rather than
the default root of the regestry.

I have tried to run "regedt32.exe
hkey_local_machine\software\intel" but it will not work.

Please could someone help me as I am getting desperate to
do this.

Thanks Guys

I know of no way to do what you want in regedt32.

Many third-party registry tools do provide one or more features like:
Favorites (shortcuts to a particular key) or "remember where I was"
option though.
RegView Pro is one.

Have you tried regini.exe from the Windows 2000 resource kit?
