Starting over in Outlook 2007

I was playing around with Outlook 2007 on my wife's brand new Vista machine
and I messed it up. I wanted the main personal folders to be her mail but
instead it is listed below the personal folder as a separate account...not
what I want.
I am wanting to use imap from her gmail email as the main email.
I have tried deleting different .pst accounts, making new ones, etc. The
appdata folder is a mess now!
Is there any way I can erase everything and start over with a fresh clean
outlook. I want to be able to open outlook again and get the welcome and set
up account information. How do I go about doing that?

Thanks for the help.

How to create a new e-mail profile in Outlook 2007 and in Outlook 2003

Note that an IMAP account will create a separate .PST file for itself. This
is the nature of the beast and there's nothing you can do about it.

Then it always will show as a separate set of folders. That's the whole
point of IMAP - it mirrors the folders on the mail server.
If you want the Gmail to be delivered to the main pst file then you have to
set it up as POP not IMAP....
