Started installing XP, switching to Vista..

Hi,
Theres probably (and hopefully) a really easy answer to this :D
Finished building my computer last night, turned it on and all was well on
the hardware side of things etc etc. So I threw in my XP Pro CD, chose a HDD
and let the install start. However, it brought up some corruption error
(relating to said XP CD) and wouldn't let me continue. So I went out today
and got myself a copy of Vista Ultimate (not the upgrade version, so thats
not the problem here).

So I get home, throw the 64-bit DVD in, and apparently the XP install must
have been recognised last night, so it ignores my Vista disk and tries to
continue installing XP. The problem is, my XP key won't work now.

Is there any way to get it to boot from the Vista CD, to start a completely
fresh installation? No matter what I try it just wants to finish installing
XP.

Hope that made sense :p Thanks.

At startup hit F1, F2 or Delete, to go in to BIOS, or F12 for Boot Order. It
will have it at the bottom of the screen which Key your motherboard uses to
enter..

Make the CD/DVD drive 1st in Boot Order, insert Vista disk, reboot, load
files, delete existing XP partition where, and install vista.

You will need to change the order in which boot devices are checked.
That will be in your BIOS settings, change the order of booting device to
have the DVD first.
(for security, be sure to change back to hard drive first after your
installation is complete)
