start up programs

My windows vista blocks one of my programs at start up. I have to click on
icon in system tray and click unblock. Is there a way to make vista allow
this program to run at start up?

Hi,

That's Windows Defender. You need to open up defender, go to tools and alter
the settings in Software Explorer or Quarantined Items.

I've tried Windows Defender and gone into options and added the path to the
file in question but it didn't make any difference. Any more suggestions?

Hi,
Add the progam as a task in the task scheduler to run at startup and run
with highest priveleges.

I've fooled around with task scheduler for 1.5 hours with no luck.
Apparently I'm doing something wrong. I printed out 10 pages of instructions
and tried Rameshs link but have had no luck. Any more suggestions?

Also I would like to add that when I tried Rameshs link its directions were
a little different and when I tried to schedule a task it said there already
was a task named that. I tried to delete the original task so I could
reenter it properly but couldn't figure out how to delete it.
