Start up Outlook follows an immediate exit then it loads up again.

Hello,
Just recently a user brought up an issue about Outlook at start up would
close out/exit with a message saying, "an unknown error occured, do you want
to send a report to Microsoft..." and without doing anything after closing it
would start up again and this time with no error message. It happened once
more today when the user was trying to open up a message. Don't know why it
is happening, thought I could find a few things in Event Log but nothing. The
user has all updates XP SP3, Office SP3, and 2007 Compatibility Pack.

Anyone have any suggestions.

the proplem still occurs. I've also done a scanOST.exe and found no errors;
renamed the outcmd.dat file to have outlook recreate it but that didn't work
either.

I was able to narrow down what particularly causes it to shut down, whenever
the user tries to delete an email...it hangs then there is an Outlook error
that prompts the user to send an error report to microsoft and that Outlook
has to restart again.
Should I try recreating a new profile?

I recently recreated the users profile/OST file and it was working fine a few
days but when the user tried to open up an attachment, it happened again.
What could be doing this? Is it Outlook itself or the profile?
